RN to BS Prerequisite Courses

All students are required to complete the following pre-requisite courses before starting the RN to BS program at Loma Linda University School of Nursing.  Students can have courses in progress while they are applying, as long as they will be complete before the program begins.

Public Speaking

English Composition (full sequence) – This is typically one full year (3 Quarters or 2 Semesters) of composition

Humanities (22 units) – Students must take courses in three different areas, one area must be a foreign language.  Areas include:
