Loma Linda University School of Nursing (LLUSN) was one of 10 universities selected across the nation to participate in an initiative to build COVID-19 vaccine confidence, in partnership with the American Association of Colleges of Nursing (AACN) funded by the Centers for Disease Control (CDC).

The LLUSN project team is delighted to highlight student projects created to increase vaccine confidence, in appreciation for our diverse community. In the spirit of connection, we also invite you to view nurses’ and students’ portraits, who shared their reasons for choosing to be vaccinated.

We wish to honor all the work that nurses and nursing students have done throughout the pandemic and share informational resources.

Choose protection. Choose the vaccine. Share your story.

Choose the vaccine. Share your story.

Student Communications

Please take a virtual tour of our school hallways. Follow the arrows and explore the many projects, including a puppet show, podcast, picture book, and comic book, posted for your enjoyment. Using storytelling and mixed media, students have creatively endeavored to engage and share information and knowledge in easily accessible ways for various groups of people in our community. Please enjoy the puppet show, podcast, picture book, comic book, and drawing, etc.

Portraits

The portraits and quotes are of a wide range of individual nurses and students directly affected by the pandemic. The portraits are focused on the eyes and their serious facial expression to convey the importance of their message.  We rely on the innate human ability to read faces, as these first responders explain why they received the vaccine.
