BS in Nursing

To be considered for admissions to the BS in Nursing program at Loma Linda University, applicants must meet the following requirements:

• Minimum college cumulative and prerequisite GPA of 3.0
• All prerequisites with a “C” or better
• Application with personal statement
• Official transcripts from all college credits
• Pre-entrance exams (TEAS & Critical Thinking)
• Three letters of recommendation (2 from instructors)
• Completion of HS or equivalent
• Please note, not all applicants who meet the minimum admissions requirements will be invited to interview.

All documents above MUST be received by the program deadline date in order to be considered for enrollment.

You must submit transcripts from all post-secondary institutions that you have attended, regardless of whether or not it applies to your prerequisite coursework. This includes all colleges, universities, military credit, Advanced Placement, CLEP, and unaccredited schools. Transcripts must be sent by the issuing institution(s) directly to LLU Admissions Processing. Transcripts provided in any other manner are unofficial and will not be accepted for admission.

Deadline to Submit Application:  

Application Fee (NursingCAS and Secondary Application):  There are two fees associated with the application:

• $100 for the initial NursingCAS application and a $50 secondary application fee.

Recommended: It is recommended that applicants obtain volunteer or work experience in a hospital/clinical setting.

While earning a BS in Nursing (BSN) degree at Loma Linda University, students can expect a comprehensive curriculum that combines theoretical knowledge with practical clinical experience.

How do I sign up for these courses?

We are now accepting applications. To apply, you must send the following two documents to BRNwaitlist@llu.edu:

1. BRN letter listing classes needed to meet deficiencies; ex: MS, OB, etc
2. Current job resume including RN licenses in other states and work history.

What happens after I send in my documentation?

Once we receive BOTH documents, we will put you on the wait list for future vacancies.  All notifications for class openings are sent via email. No phone calls are made.
